In loving memory of Evelyn Elizabeth Lindsay who passed away on September 21, 2018 at Leacock Care Centre, 2 months shy of her 95th birthday. Beloved wife of the late Don Lindsay (1985). Much loved mother of Sandy and Fred Terry, Brenda and Sam Herskovits, and the late Wayne Lindsay. Proud grandmother of Morgan Terry (Mark Goh), Benjamin (Michal), Aharon (Rachel), Zev (Enny), Rafi (Yardena), and Eli Herskovits (Shira), and Lindsay Salmon (Menachem). Great-grandmother of 15. Dear sister of Albert Potts. Pre-deceased by brothers Harold and Alan Potts, and sisters Norma Jones and Marjorie Bessey.
Our thanks go to the staff at Leacock Care Centre, especially Home Area 3, who supported and cared for her as she fiercely asserted her independence over the last 3 years of her life, in spite of decreasing mobility.
We invite our friends and family to celebrate and remember Evelyn at an informal gathering at Simcoe Funeral Home, on Sunday September 30th 12-2 p.m. Words of tribute will be at 12:30.
