He was selfless never complained or asked for help but would give you the shirt off his back. He had a passion for life and lived an active lifestyle.

Al was a dedicated hard worker and had a very lengthy career in the soft drink business. Started as a driver/ Merchandiser for Wilson’s Ginger Ale in Toronto. Then moved to management at Wilson’s in Barrie then to Canada Dry and finally ending his career with Pepsi both in Orillia.

Al was best known for his love for the outdoors. He was an avid hunter, hiker, fisherman, golfer, snowmobiler, water skier, ATVer and maple syrup producer. He loved his tractors his dogs and to play euchre

This love took him North in the 1960’s to be one of the original founders of Smokey Lake Hunt Camp. This was his “happy place” where he spent most of his spare time. This love and passion was passed on to both his children and all 4 of his grandkids . He has taught them all to love nature and enjoy life in the outdoors.
