Cropped Photo

"Suddenly as the result of an automobile accident on Wednesday February 21st, 2018 in his 26th year. He leaves behind the love of his life, Caitlin Patricia Rafters. Much loved son of Craig MacBurnie of Nova Scotia and Debbie Beard (David) of Orillia. Dear brother of Cristi MacBurnie (Dan) of Orillia and Jonathon Haste of Wasaga Beach. Devoted grandparents are Thomas Ball of Orillia, the late Joann Ball, Baerbel Bonner of Orillia, the late Charles Bonner, and the late Myrtle Brown. Will be greatly missed by birth mother Janet Wyant (Ron) and Taylor Wyant and Brittany Wyant. Loved by Aunt Lori Sweeney (David) of Woodbridge, the late Uncle Danny Bonner, Aunt Sally (Ross) McAllister of Waterloo, Aunt Charleen (Danny) McCormick of Elliot Lake, Aunt Sheila of Timmins, Uncle Jason of Orillia, and Aunt Cindy Chapman (Kevin) of Nova Scotia. Will be missed by his many, many cousins and friends. Aloha is a lifestyle, and David definitely lived it. Cool and calm through everything. David was a hard worker and had a strong passion for traveling the world. He always pushed for what he wanted, so much that he took off on a life changing backpacking trip with the love of his life. Traveling was everything and he ensured every move he made would allow him to fill this passion. Constantly looking up trips, he decided he would become a mobile travel agent. This would ensure one day he could live on-the-go, around this beautiful world. Visitation will be at Carson Funeral Homes (54 Coldwater Street, Orillia) on Tuesday, February 27th, 2018 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm, then to Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle (375 Westmount Drive North, Orillia) on Wednesday, February 28th, 2018, visitation from 1-2pm, Memorial Service starting at 2pm, reception to follow."

A Memorial Tree will be planted by the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes
