Passed away, surrounded by his family, at Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Orillia, on January 28th, 2021; at the age of 75. Beloved Husband and best friend of Sophie (nee Blonski). Loving and cherished Father of Christine Watts (Jason) and John Makarow (Kristin). Proud Dido of Nolan, Ethan, Stella and Hayden. He will be sadly missed by his cousin Anne Davies (Rick) and many other relatives and friends. Ed served for 32 years, as an Administrative Manager with the O.P.P. Transport Branch; upon retirement he spent countless years devoted to his church.
A Private Mass of Christian Burial was held at Guardian Angels Church, Orillia. A Celebration of Ed's life will be held at a later date when permitted. In Memory of Ed, memorial donations to the Guardian Angels Church or the Society of St. Vincent de Paul would be appreciated and can be made through the Mundell Funeral Home (705)325-2231.
