It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Anne Martin-Hipwell on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at home surrounded by family. Beloved wife of John Hipwell. Loving mother to Stacey (Bill), Kelly, Matthew (Jenn), and stepmother to Glen and Dawn. Devoted Nana of Jacob, Rachel, Tyson, Kaiden, Jadelyn (Ken). Proud great-grandmother to Eliana and Adeline. Predeceased by parents Thelma and Donald Campbell. Dear sister to Donald (Terry) Campbell (both predeceased), Patricia (Robert) Mathers, Terri McLaughlin (Ken, predeceased), Joan (Lyle) Bryan, and Paul (Suzanne) Campbell.
Visitation will be held at Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West Street North, Orillia, on Thursday, May 9 from 2:00pm-4:00pm, and from 7:00pm-9:00pm. Memorial Mass will take place at Guardian Angels Church on Friday May 10 at 1:30pm with a reception in the Parish Hall to follow. Interment to be held at St. Michael’s Cemetery, 7975 ON-12, Orillia. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the ALS Society of Canada or the Church of the Sacred Heart, Warminster (Look Forward Fund) in Mary Anne’s memory.
