Deceased January 28th, 2022 in his 72nd year

Ken was a loving husband and best friend to Peggy Crawford for 23 years. Having first met in 1972, they were lucky to meet again later in life to re-kindle their love.
He is predeceased by his parents, and was an only child. He will be greatly missed by his favourite “cuz” and good friend Martin Marshall of Orillia. He will be fondly remembered by his extended family of brother-in-law’s, nieces, nephews, grand-nephews & and the newest niece he never had a chance to meet. A special community of families & friends in Cuba will miss him dearly - particularly our goddaughter Samantha, her parents Gladys & Yonni, and his best amigo Manuel.

Ken was a friend and a mentor to those in his life. As a teen in Hamilton he had a sense for electronics & mechanics, always thinking outside the box. He joined the Air Cadets to fly, then boating for his Captain’s papers. There was always a seadoo or skidoo season around the area, which pushed him to make a permanent move to Orillia in 1988. He continued his electrical business, spending 54 years in the trade from apprentice to Master Electrician. He retired in 2019 to enjoy life at a quieter pace.

Extra special thanks to the Cardiac team at Royal Victoria Hospital. Their professional skills were only exceeded by their kindness & compassion during a very difficult time. Memorial donations to the Cardiac Care Unit at RVH would be greatly appreciated.

At Ken’s request there is no service. Just pour a drink, and raise your glass in a toast to lives gone and lives ongoing.
