Passed away peacefully, at home, on November 7, 2022, at the age of 80. Tom is survived by his children; Norman (Audrey), Lenore Purdon (Dave), Neil (Marlene),Senga Griffin (Glenn) and by their mother Margie Maukonen. He will be remembered by his grandchildren Maggie, Erin, Helena, Thomas, John, Allan; great grandchildren Evony, Daelen, Krisdean, Sophia, Hardy, Chloe and by his sister Pat.
Tom enjoyed his teaching career of 34 years which was shared between Morrison Public School, Cumberland Beach, Couchiching Heights and Rama Central. He will be remembered as an avid outdoorsman and in his later years, bird watching with a good old glass of scotch in hand. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place.
