Jean, passed away peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Sunday April 28th, 2024, at the age of 82. Born in Orillia predeceased by her parents Ernest and Evelyn Phypher. Beloved wife of the later Jack McConnell. Loving mother of Beverley England, Clifford England (Linda Atkinson), Michelle Sears (Colin), and Malcolm Shaw. Proud grandmother of Kristen, Curtis, Zachary, Ashley, Eric and Vaughan; great grandmother of Matthew. Dear sister of the late Maurice Pypher and David Pypher. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St E Orillia on Sunday May 5th from 1-3 p.m. A service of committal and interment will be held on Monday May 6th, 2024, at St. George’s Anglican Cemetery, Cooper’s Falls at 11:00 a.m. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
