Passed away peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Monday September 4th, 2023, at the age of 84. Lois was born in Gravenhurst, predeceased by her parents Francis V. and Lulu P.B. McCrea. Dear Sister of Ralph F Bell (Lorna Love) both deceased, Gordon Bell (Elaine Coleman) both deceased, Rubena M. McCrea Ferrier (Fred Ferrier) both deceased, James V. McCrea-deceased, Cyril A. McCrea (Jeanne Groulx)-both deceased, Kenneth R. McCrea (Shirley Merkley)-both deceased, Francis G. McCrea (Delilah)-both deceased, (Dorothy Moore). Previous wife to John Hazlett; sister-in-law of Dorothy Moore (Hazlett); long term partner to Delbert Reed Sr. Loving mother to Deborah Flemming (Ray Flemming) deceased, Russell Hazlett deceased, Dorothy Hansen (Dave) deceased, Nancy Hazlett (Dieter) step son Dale Reed. Cherished grandmother of many grandchildren and step grandchildren, great grandma to Whitney Hazlett Hillary Hazlett, Travis Hazlett. Great great grandmother to Hanna and Casey. Lois was proud of her 5 generations. Debbie Flemming, Chris Hazlett, Whitney Hazlett, and Hanna and Casey.
Lois will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Lois will be lovingly remembered and missed dearly. In keeping her wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held at this time.
