Peacefully with her family by her side at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Tuesday April 5, 2022 in her 85th year.
Janet McDonald of Washago, beloved wife of Gene McDonald. Loving mother of Jim (Judy) McDonald, Pat (Doug) Hern, Brian (Kim) McDonald, Karen (Paul) Herbst and Brent (Tara) McDonald. Loved grandmother of Ryan (Ashley), Kristin (Matt), Sarah (Bob), Breanna, Allan, MacKenzie, Connor, Colin, Kelsey (Jaime), Taite, Hannah, Maddison and Tannis. Cherished great grandmother of Alivia, Natalie, Jace, Owen, Calla, Keaton and Hadley. Predeceased by her brothers, John Morton, Glen, Morton and Lyle Morton. Survived by her sister-in-laws Gladys Morton and Elizabeth Morton as well as in-laws Helen & Garry Ganton. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews especially Jeff and Scott McDonald.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Carson Funeral Homes – L. Doolittle Chapel, 54 Coldwater St. E Orillia (705) 326-3595 on Monday April 11, 2022 from 11 A.M. until time of funeral service at 1 P.M. The family have requested that masks must be worn in the funeral home during visitation and the funeral. Cremation will follow. If desired, memorial donations to the Ramona Agricultural Society would be appreciated.
