Lenard was a loving father to his two daughters, Debra Ann Szostak and Brenda McDooling Duce, and a father-in-law to their husbands, Roman Szostak and Don Duce. Lenard's greatest joy came from his family, being a grandfather to three grandchildren, Leanne Marie Rocha, Jonathan Ryan Duce and his wife Taylor Victoria Duce and Brayden Roman Szostak, and a great-grandfather to Lylah Jean Duce and Victoria Rocha. There is a precious little great-great-grandchild, Aria Maria Budgell, born to Victoria and Justin Budgell. He was always there to share in their milestones, offer words of encouragement, and provide a warm embrace. In the later years of his life, Lenard welcomed the arrival of his great-great-grandchild, a testament to the enduring legacy he leaves behind.
Beyond his devotion to family, Lenard was a man of many talents and interests. He had a passion for modeling boats, crafting intricate and beautiful vessels that will continue to be treasured by his loved ones.
