On April 1, 2024, in the home he built and lived in for 50 years, surrounded by his loved ones Del (Delbert) Roy McIntosh joined his lord and saviour, Jesus Christ. Left to mourn his passing from here are his wife of 50 years, Verla McIntosh (nee Black), his children Jason (Ashley), Darryl (Sarah) and Amy (Paul). He was the proud and adoring Poppa of Jack, Logan & Lila McIntosh, Riann & Maisie McIntosh and Ava & Reid Wara. Del was the son of the late Roy and Margaret McIntosh of Uphill, cherished brother of Luella Currie (2017, Ernie 1998) and Janice Harris (Jack 2020). Del always acknowledged and was grateful for the extraordinary care he received from his oncologist Dr. El Maraghi and the Cancer Care Staff at RVH. A special thank you to his nurse Christina, from Bayshore Nursing for her care and compassion.
