McINTYRE, Joanne Ruth

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Ruth McIntyre on December 5th, 2019 with her husband Harry at her side, after a courageous battle with cancer. Devoted wife of Harry, loving mother of Chad, Shane (Melissa) McIntyre.
Proud grandmother of Lincoln, Joel, Colton and Mathew. Dear sister of Mary (Greg)
Hayward, and brothers Jim, Peter & John Hewitt. Ruth will be sadly missed by many nieces & nephews. After Ruth’s’ retirement from 35 years of teaching at Harriett Todd school, Ruth pursued her passion of boating & traveling with her friends Rosemary, Liz & Doreen. Ruth was loved by so many. Her family would like to thank her friends & family for their unwavering support, visits and calls. Thank you to all the Bayshore nurses for their compassionate care. Special thanks to Lindsey, Marlene & Brooke.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Ruth’s’ vibrant life will be held at
Hawkridge golf & country club (Severn township) Saturday February 1st, 2020 at 1pm. Donations would be great fully appreciated to the Canadian Cancer society. Arrangements entrusted to Peaceful Transition.
