It is with heavy hearts our family announces the passing of our Mother, Doris Mary Micks (nee Dade) in her 98th year, Mum got her angel wings on Sunday, May 29th. She was the most wonderful Mother, Grandmother and Great Nan. To our Mum, family was everything.

Predeceased by her husband Kenneth James Micks. Dear Mother of Alan Micks (Diane), Sandra Ogden (Joe), Brenda Smith (Larry), Sylvia Smith (Gerry), Kenneth Micks (Teresa), Roy Micks (Mary). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Amy Frank (Eddie), Brent Micks (Melissa), Scott Kett (Stacey), Kevin Kett, Travis Smith (Kate), Rebecca Campol (Mike), Kyle Smith (Lindsay), Meagan Buczek (Andy), Ian Smith (Darcy), Tracy Micks (Jordan), Sara Strong (Steve), Joe Micks, Mackenzie Micks (Christina), Meredith Micks and Emily Micks.

She will be sadly missed by her 21 great grandchildren -Kassidy, Ashlyn, Brenden, Hunter, Brooklyn, Jacob, Emily, Alexis, Luke, Abigail, Caroline, Anabelle, Amelia, Bruce, Arthur, Leif, Gabriel, Simon, Caleb, Grace and Matteo to whom she was "Great Nan". Sister of Alfred and Arthur Dade and sister-in-law Gloria, all predeceased and sister-in-law to Peggy Dade in England.

She was a Member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 34, Orillia and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for 75 years. Mum was very proud of her lifetime membership in the Auxiliary and it was a very important part of her life.

Memorial Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 1 - 3 PM and 7 - 9 PM. Memorial Service will be held at St. James' Anglican Church, 58 Peter St N, Orillia, on Monday, June 6, 2022 at 11 AM. All members of Royal Canadian Legion Branch #34 are asked to gather at Mundell Funeral Home Sunday evening at 7 PM.
