It is with much love and gratitude for a life well lived that we share the news of Bob Moloney’s passing.  He died peacefully at home with family at his side.  Bob will be missed as a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend.  Bob was born in Ennismore, ON and lived in the Toronto area and Pointe Claire QC, before settling in Orillia.  Bob was well-respected in the hydraulics industry and for his involvement in the community. This included volunteering with the Church, Knights of Columbus and initiatives such as mentoring small businesses.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 63 years, Frances; his children, Peter (Sandra), Valerie Lemay (Albert), Charlene Dixon (Greg) and Dan (Cindy); Grandchildren Christine, Amanda (Jean-Paul), David (Moria), Leila, Jessica (Justin), Emily (Drew), Courtney (Brett), Jordon, and Breanna. Great grandchildren Caleb, Dean, Evie, and Gwen; sisters-in-law Joan and Theresa; and many nieces and nephews. 

He is predeceased by parents Eugene and Gertrude; his sister Helen, brothers Paul, Jack, Jim, Frank, Victor and Mark; brother-in-law Vilho; sisters-in-law Gertrude, Patricia and Jean.

Visitation will take place on Friday, May 13 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West Street N., Orillia. Parish Prayers will be held in the Parlour Friday evening at 6:45. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, May 14 at 11:00 am at Guardian Angels Church, 115 West Street N, Orillia.  Those that cannot attend the Mass, may watch via "ZOOM" at this link and or by using Meeting ID: 929 2108 7829 and Passcode: 595894.

followed by a burial ceremony at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Cemetery and reception at Mundell’s Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob’s name can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society .
