It’s with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of George Fredrick Moore.

George, beloved husband to Helen and the late Mary.

Predeceased by his siblings James (Edith) Moore, Dorothy (Tom) Westernman, Lydia Wilson, Evelyn (Clifford) Trap.

Loving father to Debbie Gunn, Kathy (Jim) McCaffery. Cherished grandfather of Doug and Keith Moore, Jennifer (Rodney) Gunn, Kerry (Mike) Doyle and Ashley Gunn. Proud great grandfather of Jason, Haley and Connor Doyle, Lucas Gunn, Justin and Justine Quinn. Loved step father of Todd (Angie) Beckett (predeceased), Bonnie-Lea (John predeceased) Voros (Bill James), Ben(Sally) Beckett (predeceased) and Bridgette (Lee) Amyotte. Survived by step grandchildren Aleena and Kievan Beckett, Deven Phillips,  Amanda (Cory ) Mountain, Matthew Voros (Sarah), Steven (Jean) Voros, Robert( Jenny) Beckett,  Ryan (Sylvia) Beckett, Ashely (Tyler) Radder, Dillan and Jake Amyotte and step great grandchildren: Weston and Carter Mountain, Daelyn Joshua and Julia Beckett, Adaline and Abagail Beckett. Sadly missed by his truest companions, Taffy and Arctic, his furry friends.

Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews who would all describe Uncle George as lots of fun and always fun loving. Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Tuesday December 28, 2021 from 7-9PM (proof of double vaccination will be required for this visitation period). Visitation will also be held on Wednesday December 29, 2021 from 1 -2 PM (proof of vaccination is not required for this visitation period). Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday December 29, 2021 at 2PM. Anyone wishing to attend the service in person must pre register on the Mundell Funeral Home website or by calling 705-325-2231.
