Murphy, Suzanne Marie passed away, suddenly, at home on September 21, 2023, at the age of 86.
Beloved wife of 64 years to Edward Murphy. Loving and devoted mother of the late Darlene (Richard Root), Bernardine Murphy (Tom Lobsinger), the late Tony Murphy and Jeff Murphy (Cheryl Niemuller). Proud grandmother of Matthew & Ryan Murphy-Root; Peter, Claire & David Lobsinger; Ben, Adam & Scott Murphy. She loved her grandchildren deeply. Dear sister of Rita, Huguette, Jean-Guy, Nicole (predeceased), Helene (predeceased), Denise, Claude (predeceased), and Michel. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family from Canada's East to West Coast. Suzanne will be remembered for her genuine, kind, and quiet demeanor. She took much enjoyment from the simple and peaceful elements of life and would often be found reading, puzzling, walking, maintaining their pristine property in Markham, or hosting many family gatherings where her grandchildren could count on a ready supply of Werther's candies.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Suzanne' Life will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Saturday, October 14th from 12 noon until time of service at 1 p.m. For those unable to join us in person, please register and join us through the following link:
