Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Soldier's Memorial Hospital, Orillia at the age of 94. Beloved wife of Jim Newman of Orillia for 44 years. Gladys will be sadly missed by her children, Brad Emmons (Pauline), Janis MacIver (Ian) and Marty Emmons (Lorie), by her grandchildren Katie, Alex, Sean and Matt and by her great-grandchild, Willy. Stepmother of Duncan Newman (Brenda), Jenny Dunbar (Don), Peter Newman (Kathy) and Ken Newman (Fiona). Step-grandmother to 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Glady's life will take place at a future date in 2019.
