Peacefully in the presence of Family at Trillium Manor, she left the arms of her earthly Family and was welcomed into her Heavenly Family.

Born on Moore Ave in Toronto she will be laid to rest with her Husband and Son in Mt Pleasant Cemetery, (in view of the home she was born in).

Beloved wife of the late Stan Nosworthy. Adored and beloved Mom to Stewart Nosworthy (pre-deceased), Paul Nosworthy (Josie Richardson),David Nosworthy (Linda), Lois Gilmour (Gord Gilmour). Cherished Grandma/Nan to Michael Nosworthy (Samantha), Daryl Nosworthy (Courtney McLeish), Jessi Lynch (nee Spence) (Adam Lynch), Greg Richardson (Nichola), Rod Hangard, Garett Gilmour (Clara) Logan Gilmour, Katie Gilmour (Bryan Clarke), Rob Gilmour- adopted as Mom & Grandma by Don (Lynn) Olenek, Nichole Olenek, Rory (Laura) Olenek, Hayden & Pyper. Proud Great Grandma to Maggie, Laura, Tory, Sadie, Myah, Scotlyn & Heath. Loved Sister to the late John Snell (Irene) of Athens, ON. Much loved Aunt to Dianne Neitzel (Merv), Marilyn Snell, Jim Snell (Kathryn). Great Aunt to Jeff (Lil), Rob (Peggy), Joanna (Eric), Laura, Chris, Jennifer, Kristina. Fondly remembered by her many friends at different local churches.
Betty volunteered at Trillium for 26+ years - playing the piano for chapel every Fri morning she received the Order of Orillia for this. She continued playing for the residents after moving into Trillium.

Mom was known to be a very strong Woman of Faith, she led by example, she was an incredible role model to many and used her wonderful Gift of Music in her strong commitment within her walk of Faith! If you knew her family or had met her, she would have prayed for you at sometime, that also was a gift! She was also known for her beautiful smile and “no complaints” answer when asked how she was! She was a lesson for us all.
Over the years she encouraged and nurtured many young people as she taught Piano and Accordion. She was amazed when after playing at a Memorial Service at Trillium a gentleman came up to her and complimented her, stated he had never heard Danny Boy played with such feeling and emotion. That Gentleman was Gordon Lightfoot!

She was an amazing seamstress, and loved to travel, especially to UK, Israel and Newfoundland!

She will be greatly missed but the memories live on!

A Celebration of Betty's Life will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Orillia 99 Peter St N, on Sunday March 1, 2020 at 2 PM.

In Lieu of flowers a donation to either Trillium Manor (Orillia) or St Andrews Presbyterian Church (Orillia) would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Mundell Funeral Home.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day-and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:7-8
