It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Arthur Charles Paine. He passed away peacefully at Trillium Manor, Orillia on Saturday February 11, 2023 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Marilyn Paine (nee Balkwill). Son of the late Arthur and Edna Paine. Beloved son-in-law of the late William and Velma Balkwill. Loving father of Larry (Tifeany), Mary (Brian) and Susan. Cherished grandpa of Laura (Ryan), Amie (Scott), Michael, Morgan and Berniece. Great grandpa of Emma and Hailey. The family of Art would especially like to thank Trillium Manor, Orillia and their caring staff for all of their kindness and care he was given and especially during Art’s final weeks. Special thanks to Mary Connor who is just like family and to Art’s Trillium buddy Mac and Rev. John Blyth. At Art’s request there will be no funeral service. There will be a private family burial at St. Andrew’s St. James Cemetery, Orillia. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Trillium Residences Fund or a charity of your choice.
