PATERSON, J.W. 'Pat'

Peacefully at home on Friday, June 25, 2021, after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer, at the age of 72. He was the cherished husband of Sharyn (predeceased 2016); loved father of Trish Lashbrook (Brett) and Stuart Paterson (Tammy); proud grandpa of Victoria & Austin Paterson and Alanna & Amber Lashbrook and great grandpa of Carson. Dear brother of Bonney Bolyea & husband Nick. Predeceased by his parents John & Lois Paterson. The family wishes to thank the PSWs of the Couchiching Family Health and the North Simcoe Muskoka Home and Community Care Support Services as well as the wonderful palliative nurses, especially Julia, who went above and beyond. And a special thank you to Dr. Farn for her care and compassion. This amazing team made it possible for Pat to remain at his home, surrounded by the love of family, for his final months. As per Pat's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
