Peacefully, passed away at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Tuesday May 14th, 2024, at the age of 89.
Born in Cowansville QC, predeceased by her parents Albert and Alma Fournier. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Pestell. Loving mother of Perry Patrick Pestell-predeceased (Nola), Cathy Therese Jaques and her husband Brian, Gregory Paul Pestell and his wife Christina. Proud grandmother of Petrina Pestell, Danielle Jaques, Nicolle Jaques; great grandmother of Shyla, Autumn, and Jack. Dear sister of Paul Fournier (late Sandy). Dear daughter in law of the late Elizabeth and Russ Pestell. Fondly remembered sister-in-law of Mary Strachan (Roger predeceased), Larry Pestell and Arlene Riehl, Faye Welsh (Paul predeceased) Robert Pestell, Andy Buchanan, (Delores predeceased), Elaine Pestell (Rae predeceased). Also predeceased by Donna and Ellwood Nichols, Jack and Lillian Pestell, and Lorraine and Tom Dewar.
Pauline’s faith and commitment to the Lord lead her to service through the CWL, Catholic Prayer Group, member of the Legion of Mary, and Usher with Guardian Angels Catholic Church. Pauline will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 115 West Street N Orillia on Wednesday May 22nd, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. with 1 hour of visiting preceding at 1:30 p.m. Interment St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery, Orillia.
