(Proud Co-owner/Operator of Pilger Equipment Sales) Passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on December 17, 2022, at the age of 43. Beloved son of Bernice (nee Carrick) and the late Gary Pilger. Chris is survived by his brothers Gus (Jerdelle) and Scott (Karen). Will be deeply missed by his nieces Emma and Sarah and nephew Corey (Megan). Faithful companion Bella who stayed by his side till the end and special friend Jennie.
Fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, too numerous to mention by name as he was blessed with a large extended family.
In keeping with Chris’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will host a Celebration of Life at the Udney Community Centre on Sunday January 8, 2023 from 1-4 P.M.
Special thanks to Joanne Matte, Nurse Practioner, Cassie, RN, Dr. Rask and the RVH Cancer Care Program, the oncology crew at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Dr. Markle and Dr. Stuart for honouring Chris with exceptional health care support.
