PROCTOR, Evelyne Marie (nee Thibeault)

Passed away peacefully at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Sunday June 25th, 2023 at the age of  70 years. Beloved wife of the late Paul Proctor. Loving mother of Jessica Proctor (Todd McMaster) and Krissy Sturley (Mike). Cherished grandmother of Hobbs McMaster. Dear sister of Sherri Melvin (Andy), Cathy Cooper (Rob), Randy Thibeault, Ed Thibeault (Cheryl) and Emil Keaton (Dorothy). Predeceased by her parents, George and Delphine Thibeault as well, as her father and mother in-law, Larry and Belle Proctor. She will be missed and lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Evelyne was born in Chatham Ontario on April 23rd , 1953. She obtained her CMA certification and spent her career at Kubota metal Corp. in Orillia.  In 2010, Evelyne retired and spent her time gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family.  A celebration of Evelyne’s Life will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street East in Orillia on Saturday July 8th , 2023 from 1:30 - 3: 30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Green Haven Women’s Shelter in Evelyne’s name. Messages of condolence are welcomed at www.simcoefuneralhome.ca
