June 2, 1933-January 5, 2023
On Thursday, January 5, 2023, Mary Elizabeth Proper of Oro-Medonte passed away at the age of 89. Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away with her family by her side. It Is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn her passing.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Aart. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters: Judith Lynne Andrus, Susan (Ted) Lunstead and Mary Anne Proper; grandchildren: Ambrose Belcourt, Glen Priest, Lane (Rob) Howe, Edson Andrus, Shannon (Rick) Grant, Lauren (Ryan) Coates, Aart Proper, 7 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Esson Presbyterian Church (1430 Old Barrie Road East, Oro-Medonte) with refreshments to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to MS Society of Canada.
