Peacefully at Spencer House, Orillia with family at his side on Sunday, January 6, 2019; in his 92nd year. Michele Provenzano, of Orillia, beloved husband of the late Gilda (nee: Casciaro). Much loved father of Danny (Nancy), Frank (Sharon) and Rose Carpino (Silvano). Son of the late Damiano and Rosina Provenzano. Loved Nonno of 6 grandchildren - Michael (Jodie); Lisa Longhurst (Al); Ryan; Sabrina Nelson (Sean); Adam Carpino and Megan Provenzano. Great grandfather of 6 - Kaitlyn, Cameron, Lauren, Brett, Michael and Ava Rose Nelson and great great grandfather of 2 - Michael & Maria Walker. Loving brother of Francesco; Mario & Maria, Maria & Luigi all predeceased; Ida Ruffolo (Joe); Joe (predeceased); Franca Marino (Giovanni predeceased); Ester Carpino (Frank) and Frank. Special thanks to long time Family Dr. S Lowry for all his care of Dad and to the Nursing Team at Spencer House on Spruce Lane. Your care and kindness to Dad was such a comfort and also to Dr. David Collins for all your support while he was in the nursing home. The late Michele Provenzano will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St., N., Orillia on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of the Guardian Angels, 115 West St., N., Orillia on Friday morning, January 11th at 10 o'clock. Entombment:- St. Michael's Cemetery, Orillia. Parish Prayers will be said in the parlours Thursday evening at 6:45.
