Born : Iole Pauline Castrucci in Toronto, Ontario August 19,1918

God called your name so gently, that only you could hear
No one heard the footsteps of an angel drawing near
Softly from the shadows there came a gentle call
You closed your eyes and went to sleep, and quietly left us all

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our “Queen” Eola, cherished mother, grandmother and great grandmother

In Orillia, Ontario on Friday December 28, 2018, Eola peacefully slipped away from the loving arms of her family, and into the arms of God.

Special thanks to Dr. Aaron Barnett and 2 very special caregivers, Dorothy Macklin and Diane Gelineau for their extraordinary care, kindness and compassion.  Mom was lucky to have them.

Eola is resting at Mundell Funeral Home 79 West St. N. Orillia.

Visitation: Wednesday January 2, 2019, 11:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 pm at Guardian Angels Church, 115 West St. N. Orillia.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Society or Covenant House would be appreciated by the family.
