REHHORN, Maria

As she wished, Maria Rehhorn (Berner) passed away peacefully in her home on Dec 8^th/2022, in her 90th year.
She is predeceased by her husband, Adam Rehhorn and her beloved granddaughter Angela Rehhorn.
Lovingly remembered by her daughter Renate Rehhorn, her son Roland Rehhorn and daughter in law, Joan Vincent. She was the devoted Oma to Shantel and Ryan Rehhorn, Christina and Michelle Pentland and the most special Ur Oma to Kionna Campbell and Lily Ann Kemp.
Maria was born in Palanka, Yugoslavia on March 5,1932. Shortly after being married, Maria and Adam travelled to Venezuela to farm the land. Then they returned to Germany for a short time, before immigrating to Canada in 1962.
Maria will be remembered for her warm hugs, her genuine kindness and her sincere interest in the welfare of others.
The family would like to thank Dr Grant Ho for his kind and supportive care especially this past year; the awesome Bayshore Nursing team, especially our primary care nurse, Julia; and Lisa our PSW from Care Partners. Without them, we would not have been able to care for Maria in our home as long as we did.
At Maria’s request, there will not be a visitation nor a funeral.
