Passed away at St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto, on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Marylyn Kay (nee: Telfer) (predeceased September 2020) for 53 years.

He will dearly missed by his 3 sons - Darcy (Shari), Sean (Whitney), Mike (Deborah); 7 grandchildren - Dustin (Amanda), Maddison, Morgan, Nathan, Robert (Ashleigh), Mackenzie and Karsen along with his 6 great grandchildren Nadia, Karter, Nevaysha, Reginae, Arianna and Lachlan. He was predeceased by his parents Saimi and Frank Richter.

Notably Ed was past President of the Windsor Jaycees and awarded the JCI Senatorship #12846 in 1971.

Ed was retired from the Bruce Nuclear plant and he and Marylyn were previous long time residents of Kincardine then residing in Orillia, Ontario.

Memories of his life in Kincardine and “Big Ed’s” Big Dipper Restaurant is something many of you will remember.

Ed was an active member of Kincardine’s sports community as well. He coached and mentored many in lacrosse and hockey throughout the years.

Ed and Marylyn spent many winters in Scottsdale AZ gathering friends and memories along the way. He also enjoyed curling as a member of the Orillia Curling Club and golfed many an afternoon away as a member of the Kincardine and Lake St. George golf clubs.

A celebration of life will announced at a later date when we all can get together.

Cremation has taken place with interment at a later date at St. Andrew's - St. James' Cemetery, Orillia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Mark's Presbyterian Church, Orillia would be appreciated and can be made through the Mundell Funeral Home (705) 325-2231.
