It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Darlene Marjorie Russell on July 31, 2023. She passed at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital at the age of 76, with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late George Bedard (2012). Loving mother of Shannon Russell (Maureen), and Kelly Russell (Irene). Cherished grandmother (Ryea) to Ethen and Aiden Russell. Sister of the late Barry Russell (Ruth), Susan Russell-Perna (Mike), Bill Russell (Maggie), Dawn Harbinson (Fred), Kimberley Jones, and Patricia Russell (Keith). She will be missed by her special niece Courtney Russell, as well as many other nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Darlene dedicated her life to her family and those she loved, leaving us with many cherished memories that we will hold close to our hearts. We say good-bye for now, as she goes on her next journey, and we go on ours with her as the wind “beneath our wings”. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place.
