Passed away at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Saturday November 19, 2022 at the age of 79.
Predeceased by her parents Alfred John and Muriel (Moon) Barbara Seaward of Toronto. She will be missed by her cousins and many friends. Gail enjoyed volunteering in her community. She held a variety of positions including the North Ramara Association where she was the Secretary before she took on the role of Membership Director, Gail was with Helping Hands, Orillia for over 10 years, she was part of the Uptergrove Elementary School Reading Program and Friends of Ramara library as well as being a member of the Building Committee for the Ramara Centre. Gail also worked as an Executive Assistant at Kodak for 40 years. Upon her retirement she built her beloved home on Plum Point Road.
With the long term support of her neighbours, she was able to remain in her home for many years. Family and friends will be received at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Home 54 Coldwater Street E., Orillia, Ontario 705-326-3595, on Wednesday November 30, 2022 from 10 am.until time of funeral service at 12 noon. A reception will follow the funeral service in the funeral home. The interment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto. If desired, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
