It is with heavy hearts that the Family of Irene Seddon announces her peaceful passing November 22, 2022, with Family and Friends by her side at the age of 67. Irene was born in Larder Lake, Ontario. Beloved wife of the late Keith Seddon (2002). Irene was predeceased by her parents Irvin and Vera Wilson, Brothers Joe, Leonard, Garnet, Gary (Heather d.), Earl and Brother-in-law Gord Lindsay. Sisters Helen Rozich and Margaret Bolduc. As well as her niece Beverly Boros and nephew Kevin Wilson. Left to mourn is her Sister Ruth Lindsay of Calgary, Alberta, Brothers Brian (Sybil) Wilson and Gord (Tammy) Wilson of BC. Irene is also survived by her Companion Dave Sim. Sister-in-law Collette Wilson, Trudy Wilson and Jan Mullin and Brother-in-laws John Rozich and Don Bolduc. Irene will be deeply missed by several nieces and nephews.
The Family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Irene’s best friend, Kim Pitman, who never left her side during this difficult time. We are forever grateful. The Family would also like to Thank the staff at the Orillia Soldier’s Memorial Hospital for their compassion, professional and loving care of Irene. Irene enjoyed her profession as a PSW. Irene spent most of her years at Oak Terrace LTC in Orillia ON providing care and empathy to the residents and coworkers. Irene cared for people a great deal and would help you any way she could. She would welcome you into her home with an offer of a cold beer and a home cooked meal. Teddy Bear is happily with Irene’s niece, Patti.
In keeping with Irene’s wishes, informal celebration of life at the Army and Navy on December 2nd from 4-6pm, and Orillia Legion on Dec 3rd from 4-6pm visit.
