Peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday March 21, 2022 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Addie Smith. Dear father of Calvin (Teresa) Smith, and Colleen Smith. Proud Poppa of Grant, Braydon, Ashlen, Braeden and Emma. Predeceased by brothers George, John and sisters Margaret, Bessie, and Gertie. The family will receive guests for visitation at Carson Funeral Homes – L. Doolittle Chapel, 54 Coldwater St. E Orillia (705) 326-3595 on Friday March 25, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A service will take place in the Chapel on Saturday March 26, 2022 starting at 11am. A reception will follow. Burial will take place in the spring at Atherly Cemetery. Live streaming of the service will be available on Carson Funeral Home’s You Tube channel. Wearing of face masks is optional and your choice.
