Passed away peacefully at Victoria House surrounded by loving family and very much in the thoughts and hearts of cherished friends.
Predeceased by her husbands Ray Steele and Bill MacPherson. Mother of Gary Steele (predeceased) & Bobbie Cameron of Thunder Bay, Tom & Astrid Steele of Tilden Lake, Jim & Wendy Steele of Sault Ste. Marie, Ken Steele and Teresa Tait of Thunder Bay. Step-mother of Kenneth and Sue MacPherson of Owen Sound, Frances & Mike Jarvis of Kanata. Also lovingly remembered by her daughters-in-law Dianne Steele of Ottawa and Vickie Steele of Thunder Bay. Dear grandmother of Shawna, Alexander (Beth), Vivienne, Evelyn, Audrey, Alysha (Michele), Mathew (Jess), Shelby, Katie, Bill, Lindsay and Alexander. Loving great grandmother of Ava, Maryn, Zayden and Jaxson. Sister of John Whitton (Marilyn predeceased) of Stayner.
The Steele Family would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Barnett and his staff for the exemplary care and kindness provided to Mom over the years and a huge thank you as well to each and every one of the incredible caring team at Victoria House that made Mom’s last years so wonderful and comforted her so deeply through her final days.
Friends and relatives will be received at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia, on Tuesday August 3rd from 1:00 p.m - 3:00 p.m.. A private family burial will take place at St. Andrew’s - St. James Cemetery, Orillia.
