William Stefnik “Bill”, born June 11, 1943, in Toronto, Ontario, passed away on August 10, 2023, in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 80.

Dad’s life was well lived. As a young man he had a passion for building and racing snowmobiles and cars. He also enjoyed sports such as hockey, football, tennis, and hunting. He was always a family man, who took pleasure in the simpler things such as spending time in the mountains camping with his family. Although Dad will be greatly missed, we take comfort in our memories and knowing that he will continue to watch over us from afar but always close to our hearts.

He is survived by his four daughters; Debbie Stefnik, Marilyn Moore, Heather Killeleagh, Jennifer Eastwood and six grandchildren; Rianna, Jason, Eli, Lily, Olivia, and Owen. He is also survived by his brother Larry Stefnik of Barrie Ontario as well as many other extended family members.

Bill was the beloved husband of Gail Stefnik. He is pre-deceased by his parents, William Stefnik Sr. and Betty Lahay and his son, James Steven Stefnik.

A private family service will be held at a later date. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to The Alzheimer Society of Alberta and the Northwest Territories, Administrative Office, 10531 Kingsway Avenue, Edmonton AB T5H 4K1.  Tel: (1-866) 950-5465, www.alzheimer.ab.ca .
