Mother, wife, and grandmother; Heather Patricia Thompson’s love of life will not end with her death. Heather passed away on February 23, 2023, at the age of 78 after a spirited battle with COPD. Heather was surrounded with love during her life and when she passed. Her loved ones will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Heather loved a quiet evening with family and friends, with a glass of wine in hand, playing cards or curling up with a good book. Her caring personality was infectious. Heather was incredibly thoughtful and showed her affection by surprising loved ones with gifts that were mentioned during a fleeting conversation.
Heather is survived by her husband of 40yrs, Tony; son, Cory (Ashley); and her pride and joy, grandson Nicholas. She will also be dearly missed by brother Bruce (Pam), and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service is scheduled for 1 pm on April 15th, 2023, at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St., N., in Orillia, ON. Celebration of Life to follow.
