It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel Watson of Orillia, on April 18th, 2023 in his 65th year.
He was the beloved husband of Mary (McElroy) Watson, cherished father of Katelynn Watson, and proud Papa of Annabella Watson-Baker. Daniel was the youngest son of the late Glenn and Eleanor Watson of Orillia and brother of Bonnie McNally (Len - predeceased), Gary - predeceased (Julie), Jerome, Pat, Debbie Noble -predeceased (Guy), and Jeff (Mona) Watson. He will be fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Phyllis (Jim) MacDonald and lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The visitation will be held on Friday, April 21st at the Mundell Funeral Home from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm. Parish Prayers will be held in the parlour on Friday evening at 6:30 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 22nd at St. Columbkille’s Church Uptergrove at 10:30 am with a reception to follow. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the St Columbkille’s Building Fund or a charity of your choice.
