July 11, 1938 - September 16, 2023.
Best friend, partner and wife of Jan Smith.
Marilyn was a loving Aunt to Craig Weekes (Katharine) and Lynn Fowler (Lee).
Great Aunt to Spencer and Amber Weekes, Colin and Justin Fowler. Much loved sister to James Weekes (2017) and sister in law, Isobel. Life long friend of Joan Osmond.
Caring step-mother to Stephanie Fleming (Stuart) & Carl Smith (Mary) and fun great aunt to Blake.
Marilyn was a Graduate of Ryerson Home Economics. & a Teacher with the Scarborough Board of Education for over 40+ Years. She coached and inspired students in many ways including sports. She loved to swim, sail, camp, canoe, downhill ski, cook, play violin and travel worldwide.
Marilyn was the Director of Sweet Adelines, Toronto where she sang tenor in many international competitions.
She enjoyed life surrounded by many loving family members and close friends.
She especially loved spending winters and teaching in New Zealand.

Following cremation, Memorial Service will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Wednesday September 20, 2023 at 2:30pm.
