Peacefully at home, with his family by his side, on Tuesday, December 22, 2020; in his 90th year. Don Whitfield, life-time resident of his hometown of Orillia, beloved husband of Barb (nee: Woods) and the late Donna (nee: Robertson). Loving father of Daniel and wife Cindy of Newmarket, Jamie and wife Janice of Orillia, Peter (predeceased), Myles of Fort McMurray, AB, Angela and husband Keith Thomson of Orillia, and Roxane Alderson of Orillia. Proud grandfather of Ian, Cara, Brett and Drew Whitfield, Evan and Emma Thomson, Alexandra Alderson and great grandfather of Hudson and Elinor Whitfield. Predeceased by his parents Cowden and Vina Whitfield. Dear brother of Clifton and wife Patricia of Orillia and Margaret Holland (husband Bryce Buskard, predeceased) of Peterborough. Private arrangements have been made at this time and services will take place at a later date.
