Man taken to hospital with serious injuries after stabbing at Toronto subway station

Police say a man was wounded in a stabbing at a Toronto subway station today. 

Toronto Police Service says the victim was transported to hospital with serious injuries around noon. 

Police say trains have stopped running at Eglinton subway station, where the incident took place. 

They ask TTC riders to look for alternative routes. 

Police are looking for a male suspect described as Black, 5'11'' to 6 feet tall, bald, wearing a green hoodie, black pants and black and gold sunglasses. 

They ask anyone with information to contact the police.
