Alliston resident facing child pornography charges

Charges laid after police seize electronic devices from residence

An Alliston resident has been charged as part of an investigation into online child sexual exploitation.

Nottawasaga OPP executed a search warrant at the home of the accused on May 7. Several electronic devices were seized.  

Francis Lacelle-Doyon, 42, has been charged with two counts of possession of child pornography. A bail hearing was scheduled to take place Tuesday in Barrie. 

Anyone with information about internet child exploitation is asked to report it to police or provide information anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or ontariocrimestoppers.ca. Information can also be reported at cybertip.ca.
