Bracebridge driver faces impaired, drug charges

GRAVENHURST - On Saturday, May 16, 2020 at 11:30 a.m., Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were conducting a RIDE check at Highway 11 North at Highway 118 in Bracebridge when an interaction with a motorist resulted in his arrest.

Police have charged 27-year-old Ryan Morrow of Bracebridge with operation while impaired by drug CC 320.14(1)(a), possession of a schedule I substance (cocaine) CDSA 4(1), and fail to comply with probation CC 733.1(1). He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on July 7, 2020 to answer to his charges.

His vehicle was impounded and driver's license suspended for 90 days.
