A Bracebridge man is facing charges following a collision during a seatbelt enforcement check in Huntsville.

Shortly before 5 p.m. March 31, a vehicle was rear-ended on Highway 60 at Highway 11 while police were conducting seatbelt enforcement, according to a Huntsville OPP news release.

Ian Watson, 34, was charged with operation while impaired (blood-alcohol concentration 80-plus), driving with cannabis readily available, driving with liquor readily available, and driving with an open container of liquor.

The accused has a May 21 court date in Bracebridge.
