Bradford shooting victim in serious but stable condition

Police appeal for witnesses and information following shooting at a farm in Bradford

BRADFORD, ON - A 44-year-old man is in serious but stable condition after he was shot at a farm in Bradford.

On Friday, July 17, 2020, around 3:10 p.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers were called to a farm on the 4th Line near County Road 27 for a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, police learned that a man who was working at the farm was shot by an unknown person. The 44-year-old victim was taken to a local hospital then airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre where he is listed in serious but stable condition.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to contact South Simcoe Police Service or Crime Stoppers.

A police presence will be maintained at the property as the investigation continues.
