Update

A woman wanted on a Canada-wide warrant has been arrested.

On Friday, Ontario Provincial Police said Allannah Wood-Beers was apprehended in Oshawa by the Durham Regional Police Service.

A 33-year-old woman is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant after breaching her statutory release.

Allannah Wood-Beers, who has several convictions, including for robbery with violence and assault with a weapon, is known to frequent the Midland, Orillia and Barrie areas, according to the Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) squad.

Wood-Beers is described as an Indigenous woman weighing about 190 pounds and standing five-foot-five tall. She has black hair and brown eyes.

Wood-Beers also has several tattoos, including a feather on the left side of her neck, flowers on her right hand, lettering on her right wrist, a crown, a heart, and the letter J on the fingers of her left hand and the name Nathan on her left wrist.

She also has the words love and stronger on her left forearm and several more tattoos on her chest, upper back, shoulders, abdomen, calves and right foot.

Wood-Beers is currently serving a two-year, four-month and 13-day sentence for robbery with violence, assault with a weapon, assault (intentional use of force), aggravated assault and failing to comply with a probation order.
