A car crashed into a Coldwater Road home Tuesday afternoon, following a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Coldwater Road and Patrick Street.
“There are minor injuries to one of the drivers,” said Orillia OPP Const. Ted Dongelmans, who noted that nobody involved in the crash needed to be transported to hospital.

Dongelmans says the crash was the result of a driver running a red light.
“The vehicle was coming northbound on Patrick, it came through the intersection and got hit which changed its trajectory and ended up hitting the house,” he explained.
“One driver is going to be charged with fail to stop at red light.”
Dongelmans said he is hopeful someone from the City of Orillia's building department will be able to assess the damage to the Coldwater Road home.
