Complaint leads to impaired charges in Oro-Medonte

A traffic complaint Tuesday in Oro-Medonte has resulted in impaired driving charges being laid.

Orillia OPP responded to the complaint at about 12:30 a.m. and located the vehicle on Highway 11.

The driver was arrested and taken to the detachment for further investigation, police stated in a news release.

Michelle Meyer, 51, of Iroquois Falls, has been charged with operation while impaired, and operation while impaired (blood alcohol concentration 80-plus).

She was released on an undertaking and will appear in Orillia court May 31.
