Driver flees after early morning crash near Bayfield, Hwy. 400

City police say the driver of a small white car fled the scene after it struck a pole in Barrie early Thursday morning. The crash happened at Rose Street and Bayfield Street at 4:17 a.m., Dec. 7.

The driver of a small white car fled the scene after it struck a pole in Barrie early this morning.

City police responded to the single-car crash at Rose and Bayfield streets, near Highway 400, at 4:17 a.m. on Dec. 7.

A Barrie police spokesperson said no further details were available.

The investigation is ongoing.
