The driver of a farm tractor is facing multiple charges after he allegedly fled a crash he was involved in.

Shortly before 11 a.m. on Wednesday, West Parry Sound OPP say a farm tractor and a vehicle collided on Highway 141 in Seguin Township.

Police say the driver of the farm tractor left the scene of the collision prior to police arrival but was identified by witnesses

Following an investigation, Ronald Rowe, 55, of Seguin, was charged with operation while impaired (blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus), operation while impaired (alcohol and drugs), seven counts of operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code, dangerous operation, failure to stop after an accident and failure to report an accident.

Rowe was released and will appear in court to answer his charges on July 4. Police say the farm tractor was impounded for 45 days as a result of the charges.
