A driver suffered serious injuries after being ejected from a vehicle in a crash Saturday morning in Severn Township.
According to a tweet from OPP, police responded to a single-vehicle collision on Upper Big Chute Road at about 8:30 a.m. The vehicle hit a telephone pole and the lone occupant was ejected. The driver was taken to hospital before being airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre with serious injuries.
Upper Big Chute Road, between Quarry and River roads, is expected to remain closed for several hours while police investigate. They are asking people to avoid the area.
